Usually, women’s teams wear the same jersey as their male clubmates. However, Arsenal have decided to open a new stream of revenue by creating their first-ever bespoke shirt for the ladies who play for their badge.
Behind the new kit is adidas – Arsenal’s current sponsor – and the famous English designer Stella McCartney, which explains its fashion-forward design.
Arsenal Women’s Jersey: Away Kit 2023-24
The jersey features a wavy, striking geometric pattern over pastel tones and powerful splashes of ‘glow blue’ and ‘halo pink.’
I mean, you can’t make that pink less pink.
Inside the neck, the kit also has a special tag in pink with the mantra, ‘Victory Through Harmony.’
“I love that the away jersey taps into the exciting intersection of fashion and football through its elevated geometric print and captivating hues – with technical performance materials at the core,” said Stella McCartney about her creation.
“It’s important that both players and fans alike can playfully express themselves as they move on and off the pitch, and we hope this bold, new collection can play a part in that.”
The kit will serve as Arsenal Women’s away jersey for the 2023-24 season and will make its debut against Manchester United on October 6. The men’s team will wear the shirt as part of their pre-match attire before their game vs. Manchester City on October 8.
